Public Policy Meeting
METRO HOUSING BOND and YES! KEEP OUR GROCERIES TAX FREE INITIATIVE
Join us for this informative meeting where we will have the opportunity to learn more about the Metro Housing Bond from both perspectives. Presenting will be Andy Duyck and Lynn Peterson, Incoming Metro Counsel President.
Presenting on the "Yes! Keep Our Groceries Tax-Free" will be Dan Floyd w/ the Northwest Grocery Association. Learn how this initiative, if passed on the November ballot, will prohibit state and local governments in Oregon from enacting taxes on the sale of groceries.
Due to the topics, we will extend this meeting to 1 1/2 hours in order to hear both topics and have quality time for Q&A.
