SUMMARY:2024 WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT ACADEMY
DESCRIPTION:The Women in Leadership & Management Academy program runs January through June 2024.  One day per month and this course is limited to 24 adult students seeking to expand their management and leadership skillset.\n\n\n\nThe WILMA Academy provides managers\, leaders and emerging leaders with the opportunity to learn and practice interpersonal skills they will use every day. The course teaches leaders the interaction essentials they need to handle the variety of challenges and opportunities encountered every day in the workplace and beyond.\n\nParticipants will earn CEU (continuing education credits).\n\n \nTimeline   2024 Training Schedule\n\nEach class will consist of in-person or virtual instructional hours\, followed by a student Q&A/coaching hour. Instruction will start at 8:00am and run until 12:30pm\; 12:30-1:00 is lunch\; 1:00-2:00 is available for coaching by the instructor. One exception: the January class is 6 hours of instruction\, followed by 1 hour of coaching.\n\nJanuary 23 - Authentic Strengths-based Leadership*(Harmony Campus)\n\nFebruary 20 - Communication for Leaders (Zoom)\n\nMarch 20 - Coaching & Performance Management (Harmony Campus)\n\nApril 17 - Delegation & Development (Zoom)\n\nMay 15 - Conflict Management (Zoom)\n\nJune 19 - Creating Shared Goals (Harmony Campus)\n\n \n\nLogistics\n\nThe first and final session will take place at the CCC Harmony Campus. Sessions 2\, 4 & 5 will be delivered via Zoom. Meals for Sessions 1 & 6 to be provided by North Clackamas Chamber.\nClass size limited to 24 students. Men are encouraged to attend.\n\n\n\nThe WILMA Academy is State certified. Attendees can earn 2.7 CEUs\, depending upon full participation and attendance.  This program is offered in partnership between Clackamas Community College and the North Clackamas Chamber of Commerce.\n\n\n\nCourse cost is $675 per student.
