During this session\, Edward will outline what natural\, technological\, and human-caused disasters businesses need to be prepared for in the Pacific Northwest and how to develop an emergency response plan. He'll then talk about how to implement a testing strategy to ensure your employees are prepared when these disasters may occur. Lastly\, we'll discuss the importance of having a training and education program for your employees for emergency preparedness. Session Highlights: - What safety-specific things should businesses be prepared for in the PNW? - What is an emergency response plan? - How to create and test an emergency response plan - Other considerations for safety preparedness Speaker Bio: Edward Colson is the Owner of Ready Northwest. He holds a degree in Emergency Management and over 10 years of experience in helping businesses be ready for unexpected disasters. He has assisted businesses in being prepared for the COVID-19 pandemic\, the 2020 Oregon Wildfires\, active shooter incidents\, and more.
