DESCRIPTION:NAMI Basics classes are for parents and caregivers of children or adolescents with a mental health concern.  You will learn about coping with the trauma of mental illness\, getting an accurate diagnosis\, overview of treatment options\, impact of the child's illness on the family and an introduction to the systems involved in caring for children and teens.\n\nEvery Saturday\, 9:30 am-noon\n\nApril 5-May 10 (6 weeks long)\n\nMilwaukie\n\nAll classes offered by NAMI Clackamas are offered free of charge\, but preregistration is required. Please call 503-344-5050 or email education@namicc.org.
