DESCRIPTION:This month\, we are encouraging our members and partners to sign up for the Commissioner debate being hosted by our partners at the CCBA.\n\nCCBA May Forum:\n\nClackamas County Commissioner \n\nCandidate Debate!\n\nMonday\, May 2\, 2022\n\nPOSITION 2:\n\n Paul Savas (Incumbent) - A 37-year Clackamas County resident and community servant for the past 24 years\, Paul earned his living as the owner of a small business\, Savas Tuning Systems. \n\n \n\nLibra Forde - The Chief Operating Officer at the second largest minority-focused non-profit\, Self Enhancement\, Inc. The nonprofit is a comprehensive\, one-stop resource for youth and families\, primarily African Americans and others living in poverty or seeking culturally responsive services.\n\n \n\nBill Osburn - Served as vice chair on the Traffic and Safety board for five years. He also served on the Transportation System Plan Advisory Board and Planning Commission Interview Panel and as President of the Gladstone Historical Society for the last seven years.\n\n \n\nSteven Frost - A Sandy High School graduate\, Steven also attended Mount Hood Community College for a business degree and Clackamas Community College for Industrial Arts.\n\n \n\nMark Robert Johnson - His family has owned multiple local businesses throughout the years\, and Mark has helped manage them. Those include precision metal fabrication shops\, vineyards\, Southdown sheep and beef cattle ranching operations. He currently raises the rare Black Pearl Chinchillas and holds an exclusive importation agreement with the breed founders in Poland.\n\n \n\nPOSITION 3:\n\n Sonya Fischer (Incumbent) - The daughter of a produce buyer\, she attended Oregon's public schools. She has been honored to serve on the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners for five years and is currently running for reelection.\n\n \n\nDana Hindman-Allen -5th generation Oregonian who grew up in the West Hills of Portland and graduated from Lincoln High School. Residential Mortgage Broker and an Educational assistant for the Oregon Trail School District for 10 years as well as a substitute teacher for 3 years. \n\n \n\nEvan Geier -Graduated from the U of O as an Honors Business Student in Finance with a minor in Economics. He has lived in Oregon over 30 years \n\n \n\nBen West - Sixth-generation Oregonian who has lived in Wilsonville since 2014 with his husband Paul and their son Jay. He's a registered nurse at Oregon Health and Science University's cardiology clinic and has served on the Wilsonville City Council for the past two years.
