DESCRIPTION:Jobs and revenues are up\, but Oregon faces a monumental fiscal challenge just around the corner. Legacy costs for an ill-designed PERS system will accelerate beginning in 2017 while state Medicaid costs will grow dramatically under Obamacare.  Without policy changes\, these costs will  eat up much of the revenue produced by economic growth and reduce our ability to make vitally needed investments in education and economic development.  At the same time\, 2016 ballot proposals are emerging that include the largest and most economically damaging tax increases in Oregon's history.  Oregon's business community must unite to defeat these ballot measures while putting forth our own strategies to help Oregon address its looming fiscal challenges.\n\n \n\nPresenting: Jeremy Rogers\, Vice President Oregon Business Plan Project Manager with the Oregon Business Council\n\n\n\nAll are welcome to come.
