Clackamas County is instrumental in delivering dark fiber throughout our rural areas to bring better connectitivy to our schools\, businesses and homes. Due to the limitation of flexible options\, they are going to be consdiering a proposal in becoming their own ISP provider.  Join us to learn how this might play out and how schools like Colton High have saved thousands of dollars having access to dark fiber.\n\n\n\nSecond is a newer concept of using TV whitespace to reach even more rural communities that don't have access to the costly instrastructure of broad band.  Connect Americans Now will join us to educate us on the new concept and technology that could connect outlying areas that are in desperate need of internet services and technologies.\n\n\n\nBrown bag lunch event.
