DESCRIPTION:Over the weekend of July 23-26\, 2015\, "The Moving Wall" - a half-sized replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington\, D.C. will be on display at Milwaukie High School and will be open for public viewing 24-hours-a-day.  By an Act of Congress and by Presidential Proclamation the United States of America will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War from 2012 to 2025. To support and promote this anniversary American Legion Post 180 and the City of Milwaukie are partnering to sponsor and coordinate events and programs in honor of the service\, valor\, and sacrifice of the men and women who served our nation in Southeast Asia and at home during Vietnam.\nWatch for public announcments of Vietnam 50th Commemoration events in Milwaukie throughout 2015\, 2016\, and 2017\, in official City and Legion publications.
