DESCRIPTION:ODOT: OREGON TOLLING PROJECTS I-205 & I-5\n\nJoin us on Monday\, March 1st Noon 1pm for our monthly Public Policy & Government Affairs meeting where our guests from ODOT will present on the new equity framework adopted for I-205 & I-5 tolling projects.\n\n \n\nPresenting will be Della Mosier\, PE is Deputy Director of the Urban Mobility Office of ODOT. She and the ODOT team will present on the project and answer questions.\n\n \n\nTo describe the CCMMP - The Comprehensive Congestion Management and Mobility Plan (CCMMP) is a bold and comprehensive plan to deliver on the vision outlined by the Legislature in HB 2017\, ODOT Urban Mobility Office recognizes that individual projects alone cannot independently solve the region's infrastructure and congestion problems\, we must approach these issues in a comprehensive way to manage travel demands\, ensure seismic resiliency and increase system reliability in the metro region. The CCMMP includes a suite of projects and programs: The I-205 Improvements Project\, I-5 Rose Quarter Improvements\, Interstate Bridge Replacement\, Boone Bridge improvement and System wide tolling via the Oregon Toll Program. These projects are all critical pieces to modernizing our system and ensure that our transportation network works for all traveling to and through the Portland metro area. \n\n The network improvements will bolster our statewide and regional economy by\n \n reducing congestion and managing demand\n ensure that our infrastructure is seismically resilient\n increase safety for all users \n incorporate solutions that align with our State's climate goals\n offer opportunities for greater community connections\n increase investments and connections to multi modal transportation options\n \n \n\n Here is a link to the UMO website\, where you can find links to the projects under the UMO
