New Century Players Community Theatre presents
 
STAIRWAY TO PARADISE, with a powerful cast of 7 singers and musicians, celebrates the amazing contribution of George Gershwin to the Great American Song Book.  It includes numbers from shows likes of LADY BE GOOD, AMERICAN IN PARIS, and of course, PORGY AND BESS, along with extracts from his classical repertoire, including the famous RHAPSODY IN BLUE.  Songs from contemporaries Cole Porter and Irving Berlin feature too in this celebration of Broadway's Birth in America's Jazz Age.
