Situational Awareness For Everyone Training
What is Situational Awareness?
Situational awareness is the conscious processing of information received through any of our senses about the environment around us. Once the information is received, then what? It is how we process this information that directs our actions. The things we do and how we go about doing them determines our safety.
Who should attend this event? Everyone that wishes to take a more active role in their safety. We all want to be safe, but are you doing everything in your control to ensure this is taking place? This class will cover a variety of situations and scenarios that we often find ourselves in that can make us either vulnerable or an easy target. Have you ever been at an ATM and felt like someone was too close and watching you? Did you look around to see if it was true or did you just keep your head down because you didn't want to make someone else feel uncomfortable? Were you as safe as you could have been or were you vulnerable? We will address times like these and how our action or reaction can determine the outcome.
Join us at Camp Withycombe for this educational event. There is no fee to join, although registration is required.
