Roof and Gutter Loose Debris Removal, Roof Cleaning, and Roof Maintenance:
I have been cleaning and maintaining roofs and gutters since 1979, with forty-plus years of experience. There are two main types of roof cleaning: hand brush, not sweeping, and power wash wand and/or disk cleaning. The type of cleaning to be done may depend on the roof's condition and the climate. My name is Dennis, and I own and operate AAA Action Fast Services, Inc. I perform all estimating and work to be done; how often is it that you get an owner as experienced as myself providing you with all the company's services?

If a roof is swept with a small broom, you should instead have the roof power-washed; proper power washing removes about the same amount of granules as sweeping does; the benefit of power washing the correct way is that it cleans the roof much more thoroughly and looks much cleaner to an almost like new look. I also pre-treat the roof right before I power wash it providing better results. How often do you get the owner providing you with as much experience as I have to perform the work? The Importance of Physically Inspecting a Roof to Provide an Estimate/Proposal: Inspecting a roof is critical to determining its condition and the method of cleaning it. Do not take over-the-phone estimates. Hand brushing the roof, not sweeping it, is important, but the roof has to be dry, and its condition is important, which is why I inspect all the roofs in person.
