About Us

Sunstone Montessori School is a community of intellectually curious, independent, and compassionate lifelong learners. Sunstone develops the whole child by providing an academically strong, emotionally nurturing and, socially supportive environment in accordance with AMI guidelines for Montessori education.

Sunstone is now enrolling at its new campus in Milwaukie Oregon. Situated on 12 beautiful acres, this campus will house a toddler program and a middle school. With individualized programming that caters to both strong academics and social bonding, Sunstone meets students where they are.

Adolescents will build confidence and apply core academics as they run a farm that includes goats and chickens. Toddlers will engage their senses in diverse indoor and outdoor environments. With a nurturing community and ample time for personal expression, Sunstone’s new campus will enable toddlers and adolescents alike to experiment and build identities that will last a lifetime.

The Toddler Program is for 16-month to 3-year-olds, while the Middle School is for 12 to 15-year-olds.
