Women in Leadership & Management Academy program runs January through June 2021. One day per month and this course is limited to 24 adult students seeking to expand their management and leadership skillset.
The WILMA Academy provides managers, leaders and emerging leaders with the opportunity to learn and practice interpersonal skills they will use every day. The course teaches leaders the interaction essentials they need to handle the variety of challenges and opportunities encountered every day in the workplace and beyond.
Participants will earn CEU (continuing education credits).
Classes begin at 8:00am and run to 1:30pm. With the exception of February's class that will run 8:00am to 2:30pm.
January 28 - Communicating for Leadership Success
February 25 - Making the Most of Workplace Differences
March 25 - Confident Conversations (Conflict Resolution)
April 22 - Coaching for Peak Performance
May 27 - Setting Goals and Reviewing Results
June 24 – Delegating with Purpose
Training will take place via Zoom. In the event that classes can be held face-to-face, Clackamas Community College will provide a space and students will be alerted in advance for proper planning.
Class size limited to 24 students. Men are encouraged to attend.
The WILMA Academy is State certified. Attendees can earn 2.7 CEUs, depending upon full participation and attendance. This program is offered in partnership between Clackamas Community College and the North Clackamas Chamber of Commerce.
Course cost is $675 per student. This covers course materials and instructor costs.
