Succession Planning can sometimes be referred to as transition planning.
If you are thinking of getting out, this planning should start way before you can leave unless you just shut things down. Most successful transition plans start at least 3 years before the actual exit. Learn the components of a successful succession plan and what to do now to get ready – think about harvesting your business before handing it over.
