Christmas Giving Breakfast 2026

The Christmas Giving Breakfast is an annual event held in early December. This event is a celebration of the holiday season and a way for Chamber members to give back to our community. Volunteers gather donations from members and partner organizations which are raffled off the morning of the event generating thousands of dollars to gift. Over 200 guests enjoy a wonderful breakfast, gifting, comradery and a visit from Santa and his Elves!

This year's beneficiary is the Dougy Center, The National Grief Center for Children & Families

 

Dougy Center provides support in a safe place where children, teens, young adults, and families who are grieving can share their experiences before and after a death. Dougy Center provides support and training locally, nationally, and internationally to individuals and organizations seeking to assist children in grief.

Our work is based on a humanistic and holistic approach to understanding and supporting children and families who are grieving.

Dougy Center has received national and international acclaim for our innovating peer support model for helping children cope with the death of a family member. The Dougy Center Model™

has been replicated in over 500 sites throughout the world and is considered a ‘gold standard’ of practice in the field of grief and loss.
