Public Policy Meeting
Metro has approved a Bond for the May ballot. A personal income tax on anyone making over $125,000 a year ($200,000 per household) to help pay for homeless services.
Advocates of the bond, The Here Together coalition, will be presenting on the bond and what it will be used for. Here Together is a group made up of elected officials, service providers, some business community, people with lived experience, communities of color, and other community organizations,.
Our second speakers are Chief Deputy Jenna Morrison and Deputy Shane Strangfield w/ Clackamas County Sheriff's Office to talk about the homeless situation as it pertains to crime and drug use.
