Staying Competitive in a Changing Economy

Please join Worksource Clackamas for this informative seminar as we explore the effects our changing economy is having on the job market. More and more companies are "now hiring," and competition for qualified candidates is getting strong! Now is the time for employers to reassess their recruiting strategies and selection process in order to attract and retain top talent and remain competitive. However, in order to be effective in their efforts, employers must understand the "lay of the land" and the underlying driving forces that influence candidates' decisions on where to apply and why.
In this session, we will:

  • Examine the 'state of the economy' and its impact on the local job market
  • Learn which industries are most affected, and how, by the changing economic climate in our area
  • Anticipate what the future holds for the trends in the labor market
  • Examine and develop effective recruiting strategies for attracting and retaining qualified candidates
  • Learn what candidates expect and how your company can effectively respond to those expectations - There are four generations in the job market with varying expectations of their employers
  • Learn effective interviewing techniques for successfully selecting the best candidates
We look forward to seeing you at this important and timely seminar!

I joined the North Clackamas Chamber just before I opened OsteoStrong Happy Valley in June 2019. I have been amazed and thrilled by the incredible support, friendship and patronage of the chamber members. It feels kind of like having a really big family, and they are all rooting for me. I highly recommend that all businesses become an active part of the Chamber because it creates community, awareness and people really do give business and support to each other.
