Peace Love & Sugar is sugaring hair removal studio loved right in the heart of Happy Valley on Sunnyside Road. Sugaring consists of 3 simple ingredients, sugar, water and lemon, cooked into a paste. The sugar paste is heated to slightly above room temperature, then applied directly to skin in the opposite direction of hair growth. It is then molded to the skin and removed using a flicking motion of the wrist, pulling the hair out by the root, as well as any dead skin cells. The skin is left, smooth, exfoliated and hairless. Our studio also holds four other small, local, women owned businesses: Abracciati Esthetics (facials/ skincare), Mai Berg Artistry (lash extensions, lifts and tinting), Clover Bodyworks (massage), New Moon Aesthetics (botox, filler, microneedling).
